showers bring May flowers. Spring looks beautiful in
Gowrie as the trees and flowers are in bloom. Spring is a great
time to try new things. Thus, the creation of the e-newsletter
and a new way to communicate what's going on in Gowrie.

Development Commission meeting will be held at Webster-Calhoun
Cooperative Telephone Association on Friday, June 12, 2009 at
Noon. Visitors welcome, bring your own lunch!

Fire Department Crappie Fishing Tournament at Don Williams
Lake.
May 25 - Weather
permitting, pool will be open for Memorial Day and regular season
starts May 28th. Purchase summer pass at area banks or city
hall.
May 31 - Cookout
Picnic Dinner 11:30 am at Gowrie United Methodist Church - Missions
Fundraiser (1/2 for local assistance 1/2 for youth mission
trip). Hamburgers and Brats grilled by the men of U.M.C.
with Salads, Chips, Bars
June 12 - Gowrie
Development Commission Monthly Board Meeting, Noon in
Webster-Calhoun boardroom. Open to public.
June 12 & 13 -
