The
Gowrie Development Commission Board is currently working on a few
more items of interest. There are a lot of major projects going
on around Gowrie which need financial backing. Watch for more
information about a Community Foundation and a Fall Festival in
October.
We

July
27th - 30th
is Community Vacation Bible School day camp led by staff from
Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp of Story City. Preschool and
Kindergarten will attend from 9:30 - 11:30 am and First through Sixth
Grades will attend from 9:30 am - 2:00 pm (Bring a sack lunch and
drink.)
July
30th -
Gowrie Area Arts Council sponsors the FUSION at 7:30 pm at the Betty
Nyght Hamilton Bandshell in the City Park.
August
3rd -
School will be starting again soon. Registration will be held
at the High School from Noon to 8:00 pm.

grill. (Golfers
are out on the course from 6 - 9 pm and the clubhouse is open for
supper on those evenings.)
Women's Club
Tournament will be held July 28th.
