Well, we made it through another successful Independence Day Celebration despite the rainy day!  Residents breathe a sigh of relief and already start planning for next year.

July 9 - Gowrie Area Arts Council will not have a concert... Enjoy the County Fair this week!

 

July 10 - Gowrie Development Commission regular meeting at Noon at Webster-Calhoun. (Bring your own lunch.)  Public is welcome. 

 

July 16 - Gowrie Area Arts Council sponsors the Harmony Brigade at 7:30 pm at the Betty Nyght Hamilton Bandshell in the City Park

 

July 17 - The Spoon Man!  Sponsored by the Gowrie Public Library, will perform at 2:00 pm at the Community Center

 

July 23rd - Gowrie Area Arts Council sponsors the Town & Country Band at 7:30 pm at the Betty Nyght Hamilton Bandshell in the City Park.  This will also be the night of the Arts Council fundraiser.

 

July 30th - Gowrie Area Arts Council sponsors the FUSION at 7:30 pm at the Betty Nyght Hamilton Bandshell in the City Park

Prairie View Golf & Grill has daily lunch specials.

Tuesday night is ladies night, Wednesday night is men's league and Friday night is couples golf.  Couples may bring their own meat to grill.  (Golfers are out on the course from 6 - 9 pm and the clubhouse is open for supper on those evenings.)
