Xi Eta Sigma
Gowrie Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi

The Xi Eta Sigma Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi was started in 1982. This well-known, nonprofit service organization currently has 24 members and meets monthly. The group has had numerous fund-raisers throughout the years which has enabled them to donate thousands of dollars to help Gowrie and the surrounding communities and to aid in on-going community projects.

Currently, they are selling a cookbook entitled “Sharing Our Favorites”. It is a collection of 350 favorite recipes of the members and is being sold for only $10 per book. Cookbooks are available from any sorority member and at these Gowrie businesses: The Olde Homestead, Gowrie Family Chiropractic Clinic, Security Savings Bank and Heartland Bank. They are also available in Farnhamville at Security Savings Bank and The Home Café.

Xi Eta Sigma has recently donated money to three local libraries. Shown here is treasurer, Gayle Rabbitt, presenting checks for $100 each to the librarians. Shelly Nelson, Gowrie; Tina Twito, Callender; and Sharon Vogel, Farnhamville.
