Weight Watchers meet every Wednesday 5:45 pm -weigh-in, Meeting at 6:15, Gowrie Community Center.

The Harmony Brigade - Barbershop Chorus 7:30 pm in Betty Nyght Hamilton Bandshell located in Gowrie City Park. Sponsored by Gowrie Area Arts Council. In case of inclement weather the concert will take place in Zion Lutheran Church. Freewill donations gratefully accepted.

Gowrie Fire Department's Annual Truck & Tractor Pull at the Webster County Fairgrounds. 7:00 pm with proceeds going to future construction of a Fire Station.

Several vendors braved the cold temperature showing arts, crafts, purses, jewelry, metal sculptures and more!
Just down the street the Gowrie Public Library had their Annual Fall Book and Bake Sale!!


Xi Eta Sigma sponsoring pumpkin painting at the bandshell in the City Park.


The Gowrie Development Commission sponsored a chili lunch with proceeds donated to the Gowrie Volunteer Fire Department. Thanks to the Kensington Club, Xi Eta Sigma, McCubbin Landscaping and Farm Bureau for their donations to help provide the meal!


The Gowrie Volunteer Fire Department kicked off Fire Prevention Week with rides on a firetruck and smoke house. They also sponsored water fights with fire departments from Gowrie, Callender and Moorland participating.
