TRACTOR
RIDE THROUGH GOWRIE
On Monday, July 18, Gowrie
will be a stop for the Northland Ford
Dealers / KGLO Tractor Ride. Approximately
330 antique tractors will be stopping
at the Gowrie City Park for lunch that
day with all their support teams. It’s
like RAGBRAI for tractors!
The Gowrie Development Commission will
be hosting the lunch in the City Park
shelter house. The Webster County Beef
Producers will be cooking hamburger patties.
We will also be serving macaroni salad,
cookies & bars, lemonade and iced
tea. The cost of this fund-raising meal
will be $5.00, with proceeds going to
community projects. The public is invited
and encouraged to attend this lunch.
Lots of volunteers are needed to help
serve, clean up, and make cookies and
bars. Volunteers are needed between 10:00
am and 3:00 pm. If you are interested
in helping, please contact Gayle Rabbitt
at 515-352-3150. This is a great opportunity
to show our tremendous community spirit
in Gowrie!
