McCrary Rost Clinic and Community Pharmacy

A Rural Health Care Clinic located at 1800 Main Street includes both McCrary Rost Clinic and Community Pharmacy. The clinic is staffed by two physicians supported by nursing, lab & x-ray personnel. A full-service pharmacy is also located on-site. Rock Vision Clinic is located in the lower level of the clinic. The McCrary Rost Clinic is a satellite service of Stewart Memorial Community Hospital, located in Lake City. For information on SMCH, visit www.stewartmemorial.org.

 

Judisch Vision Clinic

Judisch Vision Clinic is located in the lower level of the clinic building at 1800 Main St. sees patients every Wednesday. The office is staffed Monday through Friday.

Southeast Valley Jaguars

Southeast Valley is the result of whole grade sharing between Prairie Valley Community School District and Southeast Webster-Grand Community School District. It serves the communities of Gowrie, Callender, Farnhamville, Lanyon, Moorland, Rinard, Somers, Harcourt, Lehigh, Boxholm, Burnside and Dayton. The high school and district offices are located at 1005 Riddle Street in Gowrie. Elementary centers are located north of Farnhamville in Dayton.  The middle school is located in Burnside.

City Park

A full block in the center of town hosts a rentable shelter house with kitchen and rest rooms, bandshell, and playground. Plenty of grassy area for play.

Brockett Park

Located south of the downtown district is where you'll find a baseball diamond and playground equipment.

Laurel Park

Located by the Southeast Valley Athletic Complex, Laurel Park includes a shelter house, playground equipment. Walking distance to RV Park and Swimming Pool!

RV Park

Located next to the Historical Depot Museum at Laurel Park you will find space for up to to 10 camping hook ups to water and electrical.  Self register for the spots.

If you would like to reserve a park location please contact the Gowrie City Clerk at 515-352-3999 in advance with the date and park you wish to reserve.  There is no charge for use of shelters but you can reserve one for a special occasion.

Consists of a kitchen, bathrooms, play equipment and open shelters.

     Kitchen with bathroom - $75.00

     Kitchen - $50.00

     Bathroom - $25.00

     All options require a $25.00 deposit that will be refunded as long as you leave it clean

     and return the keys.

LAUREL PARK

Consists of an open shelter, portable toilet, play equipment, disc golf course as well as tennis, pickle ball, basketball and horse shoe courts, plus located right by the Gowrie Swimming Pool.

BROCKETT PARK

Consists of an open shelter, bathrooms, portable toilet, play equipment, basketball court, batting cage, and a ball diamond.

     Bathroom access $25.00

     Requires a $25.00 deposit that will be refunded as long as you leave it clean

     and return the keys.
